Ursula F. Smith is a highly respected promoter, entrepreneur, fundraiser, fashion show director and coordinator and a person that gets things done. She was born in Goetenhaven, Germany with formal education in clothing design. Ursula is married to Willie J. Smith and they have two sons and two grandsons. Ursula is co-owner and general Manager of IDARA Production International. Ursula Produced and Directed the Colorado Springs Gazette newspaper’s Bridal Faire fashion shows for more than 10 years. The shows were said to be total productions rather than just fashion shows.

 She has produced fashion shows in Italy, Germany and the United States for churches, schools, NAACP local branch and other non-profit organizations. As a Red Cross volunteer she was presented the Clara Barton Award for her outstanding service to the military community at Aviano Air Base, Italy. She also provided direct Red Cross support for the Marines who were victims of the Beirut bombing attack in 1983. As a community activist; Ursula’s name is usually associated with fundraising for non-profit organizations. IDARA Productions International owned by Willie and Ursula has evolved from fashion show production to promoting world-class entertainment.

The company’s most recent acts included the Temptations Review, Featuring Dennis Edwards, Jeffery Osborne, Wintly Phipps (two times Grammy nominee) The Latin Legends with Malo and Tierra and Freddy Fender. Mrs. Smith is known throughout the community as a person who knows the person who can get things done. As a supporter of education and youth and as a spouse of a 30 year military man “A Color of Honor” is ideal for her interest and tremendous talents as it challenges her to soar to heights known only to those who dare to dream and those who make dreams happen.
